First Lents branch exterior

Description

A photograph of the exterior of the first Lents Branch circa 1911-1914. On the roof is a dormer with three small windows and two brick chimneys. There is a balcony above the front porch on the second floor. To the left of the front porch are storefront windows and doors. Two men and two women are outside on the front porch. One of the women is sitting on the porch railing. The two men are wearing suits and hats. A sign on the front of the building reads 'PUBLIC LIBRARY, Lents Branch.' The road in the foreground is unpaved. The reading room in this storefront building, now at 6111 SE 92nd Ave., was the Lents neighborhood's first library.
