Gresham growth and neighborhoods

Description

The city of Gresham is located near the geographic center of Multnomah County, in an area that was originally the homeland of the Clackamas, Multnomah and other indigenous peoples. Settlers first arrived in the mid-1800s, and the area around Gresham was chiefly farmland for several decades thereafter. The city was incorporated in 1905.
