Map of University Homes, published around 1943, from a collection of maps of temporary wartime housing projects administered by Housing Authority of Portland. The map shows street names as well as house and apartment numbers. Also featured two community center buildings, one with a cafeteria. When University Homes was demolished after the Second World War, the street grid was redesigned, and though some of the interior streets retained the same names, most were moved slightly.
