Come join us for the 79th annual Portland Rose Festival May 29 - June 14, 1987.

The Northwest’s leading civic celebration will have you feeling like a kid again — no matter what your age!

There’s something of interest to everyone — beautiful parades, highspeed auto races, hot air balloons, skiing, all kinds of music, entertainment, rides & games, sports, Navy ships and special attractions for kids.

Take advantage of Portland’s new light rail transportation service to attend Rose Festival events on the eastside and downtown. You’ll see all of Portland come alive with activity and beauty.

Our theme in 1987 is “When I Was A Kid.” Come back to those carefree days at the Portland Rose Festival — one of North America’s great Festivals!
