8th - 8:00 p.m. QUEEN SELECTION & CORONATION at Multnomah Civic Stadium. One of the eight lovely princesses selected to serve as Rose Festival Queen and proclaimed Ruler of the mythical Realm of Rosaria during the colorful coronation rites. Beautiful, ingenious, breath-taking DANCING WATERS bringing you something completely new in the entertainment world.

Thursday, June 9th - 8:00 p.m., STADIUM MUSICAL SHOW at Multnomah Civic Stadium, featuring Portland Symphony Orchestra with guest conductor, popular, classical and western style music by outstanding radio, television and motion picture stars. Plus DANCING WATERS.

12:00 Rose Show and Knighting Ceremony at Civic Auditorium.
2:00 p.m. Portland Rose Festival Junior Parade on Sandy Blvd. Worlds largest children’s parade.
2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Art Festival at Laurelhurst Park.
8:00 p.m., STADIUM MUSICAL SHOW - Same stars as the Thursday Stadium Show, again at the Multnomah Civic Stadium, with entirely different show. Don’t miss this onet
Saturday, June 11th -
9:30 a.m., GRAND FLORAL PARADE leaves Multnomah Civic Stadium to re-group at 14th & Salmon for departure at 10:00 a.m., to wind its way over five-mile route through downtown and near east side of Portland. Theme "Famous Books in Flowers".
10:00 to 8:00 p.m., Art Festival at Laurelhurst Park.
9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., ROSE SHOW at Civic Auditorium.
2:00 p.m., MARINE DAY ON THE WILLAMETTE - Center of activities between Hawthorne and Burnside Bridges.
9:00 p.m., QUEEN’S BALL (By invitation only.)
Sunday, June 12th - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Art Festival at Laurelhurst Park.
1:00 p.m. GOLDEN ROSE SKI TOURNAMENT at Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood. 1:30 p.m. Junior Rose Festival Court Rose Planting Ceremony at Peninsula Park.
ROSE FESTIVAL SEASON TICKET BOOKS contain one admission ticket for each of the seven major events on the 1955 Rose Festival Program. Adults $2.40 - Juniors (through High School Age) $1.00.
Single Admission tickets for each of these events cost $1.50. Total cost of all seven events would be $9.50 - you save $7*10 by purchasing a season ticket book for only $2.40 (tax included). A limited number of reserved seats are available at $2.40 per person per performance.
