A shelf with books and magazines can be seen along the far wall, it has a sign on it that reads 'Books From the Public Library. There are several signs posted on the back wall, one reads 'Safety First' and another reads 'Science - A Continuous Detective Story'. Above the bookshelf is a sign that reads, 'Notice No one allowed in this room except members of The Brotherhood of Electric Railway Employees of the Portland Railway Light and Power Company unless permission is obtained from the Division Superintendent.
