Guerreri

Hi friends, in 1917 my grandfather, Guy Golterman  brought Agnini, Guerreri nd Bonfiglio from the Met and Earnst Knock from Europe  to St. Louis to comprise the lead team in producing 6 Aidas to open the first and largest Municipally owned outdoor theater in America. I have just completed a documentary on this remarkable feat spring and summer of 17, as Americn entered the great war. Noted that Guerreri shortly after came to Portland to render a splendid opera season.  Would Portland Opera or Portland historians be at all intereste in having the big slice of opera house in mid America..for enjoyment and education?  ''50 Days to Greatness is a celebration of the live arts, and their civic, cultural, and economic value Regards  Ed Golterman
