It has become so much a part of theatrical things locally that hardly a person who has been here any length of time but knows all about it and its popularity in every household where there are lovers of clean, high class plays and players is too well known to comment upon. What is one of the best if not THE BEST company Manager Baker has ever succeeded in organizing is the present one headed by Willard Mack and Maude Leone, presenting for this, its initial week of a limited season, Joseph Medill Patterson and Harriet Ford's remarkable newspaper play, "The Fourth Estate," which has never before been presentd in this city. Strong parts for all the principals makes it an ideal play to introduce the company, and only the most flattering comment has been heard on all sides on both play and the different members of Manager Baker's new organization. The two leads, Willard Mack and Miss Maude Leone, are bound to become among the most popular ever brought to this city for they have both demonstrated their power to do big things in no uncertain manner, both have charming personalities, and plenty of magnetism. The reputation they have won in other cities cannot help but become duplicated here. Several innovations have been introduced by Manager Baker that will win instant recognition this year. Principal among these are the extremely popular prices to be charged, reverting to the original Baker prices upon which the fame of the company was founded. Besides this is the Monday Bargain night every week entirely new to this city and sure to become popular. Matinees Sunday and Saturday. Next week the first stock production of that famous play, "Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch," will be given, followed by others equally as noted.
