August 16th will be Elks1 Day at the Lewis and Clark Exposition. It will be the greatest day at the Fair. Lodges from Washington, Idaho, Montana and California will participate in large numbers, besides the interior towns in Oregon.   Portland Lodge must
make a showing. There will be a parade in the morning, clam bake in the afternoon, and all Elks will be turned loose on the Trail from 7 till 12 o'clock in the evening. You are earnestly requested to turn out in the parade. A new, novel and unique uniform has been adopted. It will cost each member the small sum of $2.75, and consists of a kimona, white fez, Japanese parasol and fan.% Think of the fun on the Trail in this costume. After Elks' Day, your wife or sweetheart will be glad to have the kimona. Help make Elks' Day a big one by filling out the return postal immediately.   Do it now or you'll forget.   All orders must be in before the 10th.
