The writer has been out of the City for some days ana on his retiirn discovered that we have been awarded two gold medals on governors, one gold medal on gears, and one gold and one silver medal on wagon specialties.
We are pleased to have this expression of good will in behalf of our Exhibit at Portland. We beg to ask for a little more information concerning this. What further action is expected or des .red of us in regard to this, and what time may tyk expect the substantial evidence of these awards.
We sincerely hope that your exposition has been a financial success, number of people who visited the fair from the east were well repaid for their trips. The writer has just came from New England and in every locality he heard praise of the exposition
