A printed report created by the City Club of Portland dated April 19, 1957, titled REPORT ON THE NEGRO IN PORTLAND: A Progress Report 1945-1957. This study was a follow-up to a similarly titled 1945 report in the City Club of Portland Bulletin Volume 26. The City Club of Portland published subsequent studies in 1968, 1980 and 1991.
