To the Director of Exhibits:
It is proposed to arrange for a series of special days at the Expo-separate
sition and I wish to have you select suitable dates for the following: Transportation, Agriculture, Manufactures, Machinery, Liberal Arts, Horticulture, Electricity, European Exhibitors, Domestio Exhibitors, Oriental Exhibitors, Apple, Cherry, Oregon Grape, Hose.
I am suggesting your cooperation in this matter because the industries represented by these proposed special day celebrations are all represented by Departments in your Division. I would therefore welcome any suggestions you may have to make in the premises, and cordially invite you to drop into my office at the first opportunity to discuss the subject. We can then inspect the official calendar of events on view there and determine the most available dates for each particular special day.
