My Dear Mr. Do sen: —
Please aooept my thanks for copy of March, Lewis & Clark Journal. I note your very handsome face on page six. It is my ambition to be always as young and happy as you are.
I note that Mr. Wakefield is also in the best of company- the kind he always chooses, I am glad to know that he is going to be with you. He is one of the kind who will make good.
We are having bright, fine weather now, with an occasional dull day, but not enough to hinder seriously the rapid operations preparatory to the opening of the greatest of World's Pairs.
Always with best regards I am Very truly yours
Col. Hy. E. Do sen,
