I take the first opportunity to let you know that I have been finally accepted to furnish my Military Band for the Lewis * Clark Centennial Exposition from June 29th to July 26th, and I am ever so much obliged to ycu for remembering me so kindly, and I hope that ycu will be repaid by the success which my band nc dcubt will have during cur stay in Portland, as I expect to have the finest band of them all.
