Mr* II. St Loach,
Director of Exhibits,
I am instructed to inform directors of divisions that a general letter file is provided in the Director-General's room wherein all correspondence of the Exposition Company may be filed, and can easily be referred to when wanted by you. Copies are retained of every official letter that goes out of the office and are filed away with the correspondent's original letter.
When you have passed upon your letters relating to Exposition business, and desire to have them out of the way until a future time, you may turn over such letters to this office for placing in the general file. By following this system, which can be followed until your department is fully organized, your important correspondence will not be mislaid or destroyed, and can quickly be found.
Yours very truly, DCE-VCE Secretary to Director-General
