Col. Henry E. Dosch,
I acknowledge, with many thanks, the receipt of your Chamber of Commerce Bulletin, containing your very excellent paper on "The Markets of the Orient for Orogun Fruits", which I have read with the deepest interest.
I have thought many times of the pleasant meeting I had with you at the dinner given for hr. Barrett, and of the valuable information which you gave ate on that occasion, and have been trying and am still trying to arrange to visit Portland and have the pleasure of calling upon you. However, I have not yet found the opportunity and the outlook is not brilliant, for I am very busily engaged in making ray preparations for so long an absence as I must take. Again I thank you for the Bulletin, which I am going to take home and reread this evening.
Very truly yours^.
