The year 1983 appears in black inside the ring and over the shamrock, signifying the year the first Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub was opened in Seattle. Printed in gold inside the lower half of the O is BREWED IN PORTLAND OREGON with small shamrocks above the beginning and end of the phrase.
