A brand badge is one way a brewery can build a recognizable image for a product. For their Secession Cascade Dark Ale (CDA), Hopworks used the colors and symbols similar to those used by the Cascadia independence movement. The combination of imagery and name created a recognizable public face for one of the early commercial CDAs
