A wristband given to Otto Rutherford as a patient of Dr. DeNorval Unthank at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Unthank was the only practicing Black physician in Portland at the time. He also delivered all of the Rutherford children. Verdell Rutherford was Unthank's medical secretary for many years.
