BridgePort Highland Ambush bottle label

Description

The first iteration of Highland Ambush Ale debuted in the 1980s when BridgePort Brewing Company was still a wee thing. Stuart MacLean Ramsay, then pub manager of BridgePort Brewpub, first conceived the brew in homage to his Scottish heritage. Twenty odd years later, with a modified recipe inspired by the original, Highland Ambush returned to join BridgePort's clan of Big Brews. This label graced bottles from the second "draft."
