Loretta Whitaker

That is my late grammy! She would have been so proud to know this existed!  Her greatest joy was working at that library. It is something she told us daily. She had passed a couple years ago. Some stories she would tell us:

She learned to read and use the computer while working at the library!

She was one of the first black females to work there.

She became a manager there.

This is absolutely incredible to find!

RE: Loretta Whitaker

Hello Noelle,

That is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. This made my day.
