Events on this flier include the variety of musical styles, activities, and art that remain a signature part of McMenamins identity. 1986 was a busy year for the company, with the openings of the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse and the Lighthouse, and the first batch of their Ruby Ale. The Lighthouse was the site of the first commercial brewing on the Oregon Coast since Prohibition.
