A photograph of librarian E. Ruth Rockwood, who started with the Library Association of Portland in 1901. In 1902 she became head of the reference department, a position she held until her retirement in 1938. The photograph is bound in a thick stock binding with the Morrison family coat of arms embossed on the upper left of the cover.
