Description
“Shaver Street Blues: Young musicians from Black Velvet, a local jazz band, practiced in the sunshine Tuesday afternoon in a vacant lot at the corner of North Vancouver and Shaver streets. They will release their first record next week. The Jefferson High School students performed their hit “On the Rocks” for the neighborhood kids for free.” From the Oregon Journal, March 23, 1977.
